The global digital landscape is altering the way we do business. It is not just about science evolving into new discoveries or technology making advances that carry huge consequences for our future.  While the Coronavirus adds to the new construct of working remotely everywhere around the world, there are many other changes happening in our infrastructure.

As a new media technology-based company, we already use new tech. But now, as individuals, we have more constraints if we abide by what we must do regarding social distancing to diffuse the spread of the virus. It will not be the last one. It is a new way of life that is shaped by circumstances and may affect all of us going forward. The hope is that this experience causes everyone to pause and think about the implications of this first widespread global pandemic and its ramifications for all of us.

Our planet is a fragile environment, one we tend to disregard over and over, and yet it maintains us. Perhaps this is a wake-up call for us as we are all deeply connected and need to be better caretakers of our world. Knowing that we are all economically susceptible to this type of assault may allow us to develop better strategies to prevent this from happening again. It could also dissuade people with ill intent from harboring the idea of biowarfare as the consequences are so horrific on all levels.

Our human values must prevail in this regardless of economic, cultural, religious, or racial issues. We are one people, all belonging to humankind, and we must not forget this, irrespective of what might divide us philosophically. Dominique Luchart, Author and Futurist.
