Ancient artifacts have been discovered, giving us access to incredible knowledge and power. This includes genetic engineering, implants, cryonics, space elevators, even time travel and more...

Fast forward into Ang City in 2098…the gem of a technologically advanced society appearing pristine under multiple domes.  On the surface, everything seems as it should be... Balanced, orderly, safe. Everything seems perfect. Too perfect. Only, as perfect humans, we live in a programmed world that slowly unravels.

We enjoy enhanced lives with all the comfort brought by science and technology.  But time works against us because the planet faces a shift of major proportion.  Increasingly violent storms have pounded cities over decades, destroying everything in their paths.  Unpredictable climatic conditions plague the globe, contributing to dwindling natural resources in an over populated world.

DAINN, our planetary A.I. maintains safety and security for many, programmed to safeguard life on Earth under the spirit of the Universal Pledge, and oversees an infrastructure stretched to the breaking point.  In a time where everyone runs on overdrive and where efficiency becomes the epitome of power, the conclaves fight to maintain control, selecting agendas contradicting the greater good and creating conflicts, power plays, and betrayals.
