How Would You Like Our World To Be Better?

Creating A Better World

Wouldn’t it be great if things were easier and nicer?  A better world, in other words.  Sometimes when I look at the state of our planet, I wonder how we can trigger in ourselves a new way of looking at life.  Create a sort of new value system that becomes the launching pad for a new society… one were we value each other and the things around us.

Revisiting Our Way Of Life

The NEWDAWN Universal Pledge opens a new way of life and values… for a new world!

It was created as part of the NEWDAWN story, but it is something we can aspire to even today.  It provides guidelines. It changes the way we see things. It triggers a different view point so we begin relating to one another differently.

It is meant to better ourselves and everything we stand for… and of course because it is a story, one has to wonder if it can really work in our present reality.  My answer is that it probably cannot, but I would love to be proven wrong on that one.

How awesome would it be that we can improve our way of life and and that of everyone around us? Our world would immediately change. If we hold dear certain simple and fundamental values and begin to act on them, we evolve.

The Pledge serves as a code of conduct. What if it could be adopted by all?  A great new world would indeed be in the making…

Here is a little insight on what the NEWDAWN Universal Pledge is all about… an excerpt if you will of the much bigger picture.

Is it remotely possible in this day and age to reach a better world?  Is it something we can aspire to become by 2098?  I certainly hope.  One can dream, right?

  1. Dear Dominique
How basic, essential and beautiful these Pledges of the NEWDAWN are; unfortunately they are a bit far from our daily reality!
Most people give an impression to have been dreaming to attain such values, but their practice give different attitudes.
So the question is how can we bring people who are embraced and dedicated to achieve such values together?
I would suggest to register a group at Linkedin who share and work to attain these values, some of which I posted at:
    With best regards

I am honored that you took the time to review the NEWDAWN pledge. You are right, many aspire to these values and few can actualize them daily. It is simple and yet complex to undertake in our life journey. For some, these will be unreachable lofty ideals that serve very little in our daily routines, for others something to accomplish, albeit maybe not very well – a goal to strive for… While rooted in fundamental truths, the kind we live and watch around us if we remain aware of our environment, and maintain an honesty about what we all want in life, these can pave a different way for us and the future we select as people.

As a futurist, I remain grounded to what is currently happening in science and technology and I can see paths that are been defined as we speak. Some of them good in many ways, others not so… All I wish is that we maintain our choices and this can only happen if we are aware of what is coming…

The entire NEWDAWN project is a bridge between a possible reality and fiction. Part is based on scientific and technological facts and part in science fiction… This is the way I selected to start this project and build awareness to this upcoming portal if you will, because storytelling is what I know best.

Hopefully, it will develop and gain momentum to rally people around these core values and a movement based on reality. Is it too soon at this stage for such a group? Maybe not, based on your comments. We can certainly do it. Would you join in?
